Analyse of Degree of Planets
Today I am going to analyse Degree of Planets in Vedic Astrology.
What is Degree?
Degree in astrology terms as "power" or "planets strength". How much planets are capable to give their bad or good results in one's horoscope.
For example: If we see anyone horoscope, we always find that planets are present with unique signs/number, along with that, planets degree is also there indicating with circle.
Degree could be any random degree. i.e. 0 degree or 12 degree or 16 degree or 28 degree e.t.c.
Degree is very important to judge planets influence on the person whether benefic or malefic, weak or strong, good or bad e.t.c
All 9 Planets are capable or having power to give their results according to their placements in one's horoscope.
Degree matters a lot while judging mahadasha, andardasha, pratyantardasha, sukshma dasha, char dasha e.tc.
Now let's analyse how much percentage(%) of planets are capable to give it's either good or bad results depending upon the placement of planets in a particular degree.
How to Judge Person time or period whether bad or good totally depends upon on the degree of Planets.
For Example : When we see any person age, we find person age could be 14, 28, 59 e.t.c. or he or she could be child, infant, adult state(awasthas).
In the same manner, our vedic rishis used degree to analyse planets which are in different state. Planets state could be old, child, infant or dead state(awasthas).
There are five states or avasthas and the power of planets will be judging on the basis of zodiac/Rashi signs in which they are present.
For odd zodiac/Rashi signs:

0-6 degree = 25% result = Child/infant state/bala Avastha
6-12 degree = 50% result = Young state/Kumara Avastha
12-18 degree = 100% result = Adult state/Yuva Avastha
18-24 degree = 20% result = Mature state/Vriddha Avastha
24-30 degree = Nil result = Old state/Mrit Avastha

For even zodiac/rashi signs:
4(Cancer zodiac sign)...........................................................................................

0-6 degree = Nil result = Old state/Mrit Avastha
6-12 degree = 20% result = Mature state/Vriddha Avastha
12-18 degree = 100% result = Adult state/Yuva Avastha
18-24 degree = 50% result = Young state/Kumara Avastha
24-30 degree = 25% result = Child/infant state/bala Vastha
In above example, we can see that planets which are in odd zodiac sign with different state/Avastha/Results and planets which are in even zodiac sign with different state/Avastha/Results
Note: Planets with 0 or 1 degree or 28 or 29 degrees have no result, they all are in dead state/Avastha, they are not capable of producing any results either good or dead. We can also exclude that particular planets if they are in dead state/Mrith Avastha.
Note: Benefic planets(Planets which are in friendly sign, exaltation sign, own sign, mool trikon sign or natural benefic planets like Jupiter, Venus, Mercury and Moon are capable of producing good results, if their degree are low, we can improve their degree by wearing gem stones.
Note: Never wear gem stones of malefic planets like saturn, rahu, ketu, sun, mars if they are present in malefic sign or in debilitated sign. We can convert malefic or debilitated planets results into benefic planets by worship lord of that planet who is malefic or debilitated in one's horoscope.
For example, suppose if any one of the planet is present in debilitated sign and some one wears gem stone, it will create trouble to that particular person who is wearing that gemstone.
Suppose if your mars is in debilitated sign, it will give negative results, one will become more irritating personality or could be mentally disturbed or even argument with any person with little discussion.
Analyse of Mahadasha is a major period, if a planet is in 12-18 degree and that particular planet Mahadasha period is running then we can say that the person will grow faster in every field which he/she will choose during that Mahadasha.
