Today I am going to discuss that how many zodiac signs or Rashi's are there in Vedic Astrology and how to analyse one's zodiac/rashi in one's horoscope/rashi.
Analyse of Rashi in one's Horoscope
Before going to write. I hope you all are doing well as one can expect.
So, there are 12 zodiac signs or Rashi's in our Vedic Astrology.
1. Aries: Aries zodiac sign is also known as Mesh rashi in Vedic Astrology.
2. Taurus: Taurus zodiac sign is also known as Vrishabh rashi in Vedic Astrology.
3. Gemini: Gemini zodiac sign is also known as Mithuna rashi in Vedic Astrology.
4. Cancer: Cancer zodiac sign is also known as Karka rashi in Vedic Astrology.
5. Leo: Leo zodiac sign is also known as Simha rashi in Vedic Astrology.
6. Virgo: Virgo zodiac sign is also known as Kanya rashi in Vedic Astrology.
7. Libra: Libra zodiac sign is also known as Tula rashi in Vedic Astrology.
8. Scorpio: Scorpio zodiac sign is also known as Vrishcik rashi in Vedic Astrology.
9. Sagittarius: Sagittarius zodiac sign is also known as Dhanu rashi in Vedic Astrology.
10. Capricorn: Capricorn zodiac sign is also known as Makar rashi in Vedic Astrology.
11. Aquarius: Aquarius zodiac sign is also known as Kumbha rashi in Vedic Astrology.
12. Pisces: Pisces zodiac sign is also known as Meena rashi in Vedic Astrology.
So, now we will analyse how to examine or determine one's zodiac sign or rashi in a horoscope or kundli.

Firstly, Look at the image in which we just look at the position of moon and its sign. The zodiac sign or Rashi in which Moon will present will be your moon sign/rashi or zodiac sign in your horoscope. regardless of moon position means moon can sit anywhere or in any house from ascendant or lagna.
Note: Placement of zodiac sign or rashi matters where moon is present not placement of moon in any house from ascendant. That will be your original rashi or zodiac in your horoscope.
In the above image, moon is present in 3rd house with Gemini or mithun zodiac sign so now we have got our result i.e. our rashi or zodiac sign will be Gemini or mithun.
