Analysis of Neech Bhang Raj Yog in Vedic Astrology
There are certain planetary aspects and combinations which create Rajyog in a horoscope although there are many other Rajyogs mentioned by our Vedic Rishis in their books like direct Raj Yog(Kendra or Trikon Rajyog), PanchMahaPurush Yog, Viparita Raj Yog and many others. Today we will analyse Neech Bhang Raj Yog in a horoscope. Before going to analyse Neech Bhang Raj Yog, we first understand what is debilitated or Neech?
What is debilitated or Neech?
In our day-to-day life, the word neech means a person who is cruel, angry, who is involved in illegal activities, no mercy towards other people, who do backbiting, a person who feels happy to see other people in trouble, a person who does wrong deeds. In the same manner, we consider the debilitated planet in Astrology with the same attributes.
What is 'Bhang' in Vedic Astrology?
Bhang means 'Cancellation'. It means that when there are some conditions which apply with neech planet to cancel its all negative or malefic results.
So, now if we combine both words Neech+ Bhang=Cancellation of debilitated or malefic results= Raj Yog results.
Neech Bhang Raj Yog Results?
Now, a planet which is debilitated or neech will give auspicious result during the Mahadasha, Antardasha, Pratyantar or Sukshma or char dasha.
People with Neech Bhang Raj Yog in their horoscope are highly talented or famous personality or famous politicians or some may achieve high position or status in the society by their own hard work and efforts, and some are doing well in their profession or business and are wealthy.
Note: It is also true that, In the initial phase of life, this debilitated planet gives little negative results, people struggle a little with this yog but after facing struggle, people stand up again and start working on their mistakes, work hard then that debilitated planet works positively for them.
If we talk about other Raj Yog, People get success fast like Kendra trikon raj yoga, PanchMahapurush Yog or Gajkesari yog, but Neech Bhang Raj Yog takes time to give its effects but once this yog gets activated then it gives auspicious results.
How does Neech Bhang Raj Yog Form?
a) When lagan lord is present in the center houses(1st, 4th, 7th and 10th) in own zodiac sign with the debilitated planet from ascendant or from the Moon then this Yog forms.
Let's take an example for Cancer ascendant: In Cancer ascendant, the lord is Moon, Mars gets debilitated in Cancer zodiac sign or Rashi so when mars conjunct with Moon or Moon is giving its aspect to Mars from ascendant or form the moon then this Yog forms. This combination gives excellent results with Rank 1.
b) When a debilitated or neech planet present in the centre or kendra houses(1st, 4th, 7th and 10th) conjuncts exalted planet from ascendant or from the moon then Neech Bhang Raj Yog forms. This combination also gives excellent results with Rank 1.
Let's take an example for the same ascendant i.e. Cancer Ascendant: Mars gets debilitated in the Cancer zodiac sign. Jupiter gets exalted in Cancer zodiac sign so when debilitated Mars sits with exalted Jupiter then this Yog will form.

c) When lagan lord is giving aspect to the debilitated planet from ascendant or from the moon then Neech Bhang Raj yog forms.
Example: When Ascendant lord i.e. Moon for cancer ascendant giving its aspect to Mars which is present in 1st house then Neech Bhang Raj yog forms because Mars carry three aspects from its place where it is present. Mars aspects are 4th house, 7th house and 8th house.
d) If any planet is debilitated in Ascendant or lagna but if it gets exalted in Navmansha chart then it gives Neech bhang Raj Yog but its effect are less. It gives 30 to 40% result of Neech Bhang Raj Yog.
e) This example gives a very powerful result of Neech Bhang Raj Yog results. If Saturn and Sun, both are present in libra zodiac sign with Number 7 then it gives an excellent result of neech bhang Raj yog with Rank 1 because here Sun is the natural enemy of Saturn.
f) Saturn is debilitated in Aries zodiac sign(Number 1), when two planets which are benefic planets like Venus and Jupiter or Mercury sits with Saturn then it also gives Neech Bhang Raj Yog but with fewer effects.
g) It is also seen that when any debilitated Planet sits in the center or kendra houses in the benefic or auspicious house then it removes ill-effects of the debilitated planet.
h) If Neech Bhang Raj is existing in 3rd house, 6th house, 8th house, 10th house, 11th house, 12th house then it gives auspicious results.
i) If a planet is present in the debilitated zodiac sign, then its zodiac sign lord is in the center or in the Kendra from the Moon, even if zodiac sign lord is not present in its own sign then also it creates Neech Bhang Raj Yog results but it gives fewer good results.
j) Debilitated Lord and exalted Lord are in the center or Kendra from ascendant.
For example, Mars is debilitated in the Cancer zodiac sign and lord of cancer zodiac sign is Moon hence Moon will become the debilitated lord for Mars. In the same way, Mars is exalted in Capricorn zodiac sign, lord of Capricorn zodiac sign is Saturn so Saturn is the exalted lord for Mars.
k) Debilitated Lord and exalted Lord are in the center of kendra form the moon.
For example, Moon(Debilitated Lord) and Saturn(Exalted Lord) should present in 1st house, 4th house, 7th house, 10th house from the moon.
l) If a planet is present in the debilitated zodiac sign, then its zodiac sign lord is exalted and is present in the center houses from the Ascendant or from the moon then Neech Bhang Raj Yog is formed.
m) If a planet is getting debilitated in a particular zodiac sign then its zodiac sign lord where it is exalted, that zodiac sign lord of an exalted planet should present in the center or kendra from the ascendant.
For example, A Mars is debilitated in the Cancer zodiac sign, then lord of cancer zodiac sign is the moon, Moon is exalted in Taurus zodiac sign, Taurus zodiac sign lord is Venus so Venus should present in the center houses from ascendant.
n) Killer or Markesh Planet if exists in Neech bhang will not give Neech Bhang Raj yog results.
o) If a debilitated planet is set off with Sun.
p) If a debilitated planet has its: 0 degree, 28 degrees, 29 degree then people will not feel malefic results of the debilitated planet because the planet is in a dead state with no power.
Note: Degree matters a lot to judge Neech Bhang Raj Yog is present or not in one's horoscope.
For example: Suppose if Jupiter and Mars, both are present in cancer zodiac sign where Jupiter is present with 14 degree and mars is present with 4.9 degrees, here Jupiter is exalted and Mars is debilitated then, In this case, Jupiter influence is more on Mars hence a person will feel more jupiterian attributes and will lack Mars attributes although Mars will not give its malefic results to that person, but a person will more inclined towards religion, spiritual activities, can become teacher or dharma guru, all things which represent Jupiter because Jupiter does not want that person to involve in those things where there is more risk of life for example: Defence sector.

a) In the above image, we see that there is Venus annulus or ring on the palm with cross mark present in between Venus annulus or ring.
b) We see, there are three black marks present on a fingertip. Consider it in black colour although I have marked with blue colour.
c) There is a Jupiter annulus or ring on Jupiter mount.
d) There is a cross on Jupiter mount
e)There is a Swastik sign present on the center of the palm.
f) There is a mercury annulus or ring on mercury mount
g) A line coming from moon mount join mercury mount.
h) All mount should be developed with pink colour.
Note: To qualify for Neech Bhang Raj Yog, at least 4 or 5 conditions should exist.
