Moon and Sun are considered to be important planets for Arranged Marriage in Vedic Astrology because Sun represents your father and Moon represents your Mother.
To analyse Arranged Marriage, we will check the placement of Sun and Moon in the birth chart.
The 7th house and the Lord of the 7th house are the main Karaka of Marriage so if the 7th house and the Lord of the 7th house will make any connection, conjunction, aspect or combination with the Sun or Moon then it indicates Arrange Marriage.
We will also check the 2nd house and 11th house because these are important houses to determine Arrange marriage in Vedic Astrology. After all, the 2nd house represents family and the 11th house represents our desire, income, gains and wish fulfilment. Certain parameters signify Arrange Marriage in Vedic Astrology. These are:
a) If Strong Sun or Moon is present in the 2nd house then it indicates that there will be involvement of family or family members in your Marriage.
b) The presence of positive or Strong Sun or Moon in the 7th house also indicates the involvement of Parents.
c) As Venus is an important planet for the Male birth chart because it represents the wife in the birth chart.
If Venus conjuncts or aspect 4th Lord or 9th Lord or 4th house or 9th house in the birth chart then it represents Arrange Marriage because 4th house represents your parents, homeland, mother.
The 9th house is the Dharma house which represents your teachers, fathers, gurus. Also, it is the house of fortune.
d) If there will be any conjunction of Moon or Sun with the Venus then there will be a good chance for Arranged Marriage in Vedic Astrology.
e) If Venus is keeping an eye on Sun or Moon then it represents Arrange Marriage. It is possible when Moon or Sun will be present in the 7th house from Venus or Venus is present in the 7th house from Sun or Moon.
f) If the Lord of the 7th house makes strong combinations with the 4th house and 9th house then it indicates Arrange Marriage for example: If Lord of the 7th house is present in the 4th house or 9th house then it indicates Arrange Marriage.

g) If the Lord of the 7th house making any relation with the 10th house for example Presence of the Lord of the 10th house in the 7th house then it shows the involvement of the father in Marriage.
You can also meet your spouse through profession or career. It also shows marriage with higher authorities.
h) If there will not be much connection of Lord of 1st house with Lord of 7th house then it indicates Arrange Marriage. If there will be any connection then it indicates that the person will marry according to their choice.
i) If a benefic planet like Jupiter is present in the 7th house then it shows Arrange Marriage.
j) Presence of Lord of 1st house is present in the 9th house indicates Arrange Marriage.
k) If more benefic planets are present in the 7th house and Ascendant Lord is well placed then this person will be very conscious regarding his or her self respect in the society and listen to their parent's views and therefore these types of people do Arrange Marriage.
l) We can also analyse Arranged Marriage on the based on Nakshatra for example: If the Lord of 7th house gets Nakshatra which is making any connection with the 4th house or 9th house and it is not making any connection with the Lord of 1st house then it indicates that the person will not take any decision by themselves regarding his or her marriage and there will be an involvement of parents hence it indicates Arrange Marriage in Vedic Astrology by the help of their parents.
